To celebrate the ceremony, Swire Motors invited Volvo Group Trucks top management: Mr. Eric Labat, President of Volvo Group Trucks Region China, and Mr. Fredrik Samuelson, General Manager of Volvo Group Trucks Region China (HK and TW) to share this remarkable moment. The ceremony started with an opening speech delivered by Mr. Derrick Chan, Managing Director of Taikoo Motors Group and Mr. Eric Labat, then coming with the ribbon cutting and toasting ceremony by the top management of both Taikoo Motors Group and Volvo Group Trucks. Following the lion dancing, 3D mapping and dancing show marked a prosperous start of Lau Fau Shan workshop.
Meanwhile, newly launched Volvo FM/FH models were displayed along with Volvo well-known D11C engine and I-shift gearbox components, the cutting-edge technology proven in widespread commercial operation.
The brand new workshop located in Lau Fau Shan is only five minutes from the main Tuen Mun Highway (the main artery for transportation in the new territories and cross border logistics). The workshop is ideally situated to support our loyal customer's service needs. The total site area is over 30,000 sq.ft. with six full size work-bays that will ensure all work undertaken is completed in a clean and safe environment this resulting in greater time efficiencies and quality of work completed. The facility also houses a large parts warehouse ensuring that parts available upon demand.
The workshop provides quick and convenient repair & maintenance services, operated by a well-trained, highly skilled technical staff. Together with Ping Che workshop and the 24hrs mobile service truck, Swire Motors seek to make aftersales services more convenient, accessible and an excellent experience for all Volvo and UD truck owners.
