For the second year in a row, Volvo Trucks is the market leader in Europe for heavy-duty trucks. In 2025, the company had an overall market share in Europe of 19.0%.

Volvo’s popular battery-electric medium duty truck – the Volvo FL Electric – is now coming in a 14-tonne entry level version with new battery configuration, making it an ideal transport tool for the city.

Volvo Trucks adds two more trucks to its list of models that have been awarded Euro NCAP’s maximum score of 5 stars. Two variants of the Volvo FH with standard cab are the latest to get the top rating, confirming Volvo’s leading position in its core value safety.

Volvo Trucks introduces a new generation of its I-Roll technology, adding an engine stop/start functionality – a world first in the heavy-duty truck industry. The new stop/start function will cut fuel consumption and CO2 emissions – the latest initiative from Volvo to reduce the climate impact and running costs of transportation.

Volvo’s electric trucks have now driven more than 250 million kilometers since the company launched its first electric models in 2019. Volvo is a leader in the electric truck segment with more than 5,700 trucks delivered to customers in 50 countries.

Volvo Trucks has done it again – receiving the maximum 5-star safety rating for heavy-duty trucks from the European consumer test organization Euro NCAP. Both the Volvo FH Aero and the Volvo FM scored top results in the 2025 rating.

Volvo Trucks upgrades its Driver Alert Support system with an eye-tracking camera, with the objective to even better support truck drivers and increase road safety.

Volvo has further refined its renowned dynamic steering system with a new function that can detect a tire blowout and immediately take action to keep the truck safely on the road.
